PGRFC is thrilled to announce the return of hooker Christian Taylor to the club. Christian re-joins after a couple of seasons with Sale FC where he featured regularly in their National League One campaigns. He has represented Cheshire and was also selected for England Counties U20. Also able to play Number 8, a proven try scorer in his first spell with the club, he will add significantly to the selection options available to Head Coach Paul Arnold.
Speaking on his return to Lightfoot Green, Christian said “I am really happy to re-join the club that gave me my first opportunity to play adult rugby. I’m excited to play with a good group of lads who have done well over the past couple of seasons and also looking forward to working with Arnie. After last season’s campaign it is clear everyone wants to push on again and secure a better league position in the coming season”.
Head Coach Paul Arnold said “I’m thrilled that Christian has chosen to return to the club. He has had two seasons at Sale FC and has developed further as a player. He is a quality operator with a good rugby brain and will bring plenty of power to the squad. That he can also play in a couple of positions is a bonus but his arrival will further increase competition for places”.
