Crosley back at Hoppers

Date: 05 July 2016

Hoppers are delighted to announce the return of centre/wing Niall Crosley, following his time studying at Hartpury College. During his time there Niall has been a regular in the University BUCS 1st XV and has recently represented Lancashire 1st XV, in their 2016 county cup campaign. As well as playing for the club, Niall will be taking over the community rugby post at the club following Sean Taylor’s move to London.

Speaking on the signing, Director of Rugby Alan Holmes said “We are thrilled to have Niall return to Preston after his spell at Hartpury, he is a very talented player and is a great addition to our squad. Niall is strong defensively and a powerful ball carrier who will undoubtedly cause defences real problems in this league. We have added to the squad in key areas this summer and are looking forward to pre-season starting on the 5th July.

When asked about his return to Hoppers Niall (pictured above with the ball) said “I am pleased to be able to re-join the club as I have always considered it my home. I am looking forward to the challenge of the community development officer job and the opportunity to carry on the good work that Sean has started. It is also great to be back playing with a lot of my old team mates and I am excited to start pre-season and the opportunity to put a Hoppers 1st XV shirt on”
