1st XV fly-half Lewis Allen is undertaking an incredible physical challenge to raise money for the Meningitis Research Foundation.
On the 20th July Lewis will ride in L’Etape du Tour covering 148km through the French Pyrenean mountains. The route includes two of the most iconic mountain climbs in cycling history, the Col Du Tourmalet which rises up above 2115m and the Hautacam which rises up to 1520m. This stage is the exact route that the professional riders in the Tour De France will be riding just four days later on the 24th of July in stage 18 of the race.
