Preston Grasshoppers RFC is saddened to hear of the death of Nick Atack who passed away on Tuesday after a battle with cancer.
Nick was a well known name in the North West dance community and ran Dancers with his wife Carol from 1979 until his retirement in 2013.
For the last 10 years Dancers has been based at Preston Grasshoppers, running classes on Sunday, Monday and Tuesday evenings. During that time Nick and Carol have both been involved in running the ‘Hoppers Come Dancing’ charity event which has raised well over £5,000 for charity.
The funeral service will be at Preston Parish Church at 11.15 on Monday December 1st followed by the crematorium at 1.00pm. There will be a funeral reception here at the club afterwards. Those wishing to attend are asked to dress to impress!!
