O2 Touch back to Moor Park

Date: 14 May 2015

Next Thursday, 21st May, sees Preston Grasshoppers RFC take rugby back into the community again with the return of O2 Touch Rugby to Moor Park. The evening will start at 7pm prompt so we would ask that you get their slightly earlier.

This is the 4th consecutive year that the club has run touch rugby on the park with the three previous years proving to be very successful. This year is a particularly special one as the sessions will lead right the way up to the 2015 Rugby World Cup which is being held in England in September. The RFU are hoping for a boost in participation in the game in the build up to and after the competition.

The O2 Touch sessions on Moor Park are open to everyone whether you have played rugby before or not. Touch Rugby is a high intensity non-contact sport which is a great way to improve and maintain fitness. The sessions are free of charge and are open to men and women aged 16+.

The night will consist of a series of Touch Rugby matches in mixed teams which are organised on the night. There is no need to bring a team with you, all you need is yourself!

Please spread the word to your friends, family and colleagues.

The pitches will be set out at the Garstang Road end of the park with parking available on Moor Park Avenue.
