Aldwinians RUFC

From junction 23 of M60 turn right at the lights if coming from Oldham or left at the lights if coming from Stockport. Turn left at the next set of lights then straight on past McDonalds and a Texaco petrol station on your left; get in the right hand lane. After the pedestrian crossing turn right at the next set of lights, passing a small library and park on your left. You should see the Aldwinians RUFC sign at the lights. Follow one-way system round to your left past the shops on your left (250 yards) at the junction with Kershaw Lane. The club is behind a row of terraced houses, slow down for the left turn in the gap between the houses, again you should see the Aldwinians RUFC sign on the right hand side. Go through the gates and the club house is in front of you.

From junction 3A of the M56 take signs for the A560 to Altrincham. Follow the road until you pass a large Tesco on left. Go forward 400 yards to a roundabout and then take the third exit marked Timperley (Stockport Road). Take the first right into Stelfox Avenue and the clubhouse is before the fields on the right.

From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, follow the M60 to Junction 23, follow the signs for Ashton then Oldham (A627) and at the traffic lights at the Peugeot dealers (Robins & Day) turn right into Wilshaw Lane. At the roundabout take the first exit, Alt Road, and find the club 400 yards on the right.

From M6 southbound leaving at Junction 25 turn left towards Wigan on A49. At roundabout turn right towards Wigan on B5238. Continue straight on until opposite Riley’s snooker hall and then turn right. At next set of lights (Tesco on left) turn right. At next set of lights turn left. After 3 miles you will see football pitches on your right and Woods Rd. is between these pitches. Aspull RFC is located at the end of this road.

From M53 junction 1 take the A554 exit and at the roundabout turn right past B&Q. Go over the bridge and at the next roundabout go straight over. At the next roundabout carry straight on onto Laird Street. Turn right at the Bus Station (Arriva) and at the end of the road turn left onto Park Road North. Birkenhead Park FC is 100 yards on the right.

From junction 31 of the M6 head east to Blackburn following the A677 for 5 miles to a set of traffic lights. Turn left up the hill signposted A6119 (M66, M65). The ground is on top of the hill (approximately 1.5 miles) to the left.

From the M6 take junction 32 for the M55 west to Blackpool. Exit at junction 4, turning right on the roundabout onto the A583 dual carriageway. Follow this for a couple of miles then turn right onto Whitegate Drive (still A583). At the traffic lights bear right onto Devonshire Road (B5214), the club is on the right 0.5 miles past the Red Lion Pub.
Bolton RUFC
From the M6 take the M61 to Manchester. Exit at junction 2 onto the A666 and follow the road to the end. Turn left at the traffic lights onto Topp Way and straight on at the traffic lights beside the Ford garage. Bear right at the next traffic lights onto St George’s Road. Go straight over the next two sets of traffic lights onto Chorley Old Road. About 300 yards past the Shell garage and the Pub on left turn right at the first set of bollards into Avenue Street. The club is 300 yards on the right.

From M56 Junction 7, take A56 towards Altrincham. After approx. 3 miles, turn right onto A560. Follow A560 until reaching traffic lights at Shell Petrol station and Hare and Hounds Pub, turn right into Wood Lane. At roundabout, go straight ahead into Clay Lane, ground is on the left, approx. ½ mile from roundabout.
From M60 Junction 5, take A5103 towards Airport. Before joining M56, take exit slip road following signs for A560 to Altrincham. After approx. 3 miles, at traffic lights turn left onto A5144, at roundabout turn left into Clay Lane, ground is on the left, approx. ½ mile from roundabout.
Broughton Park FC
From J3 on the M56 or J5 on the M60 get onto the A5103 (Princess Parkway) going North. After crossing a major set of lights (Barlow Moor Road) carry onto the next set of lights and turn left onto Mauldeth Road West (the Princess Park pub used to be on the corner & Hough End Playing Field signs on the left). 1/2 mile on the left is Houghend Crescent, Broughton Park is at the end of the Crescent.

Leave the M66 (M602) at J17 and follow the A56 towards Bury. After 4 miles turn left at the traffic lights into Radcliffe Road. The club is 20 yards on the right.
Caldy RFC
From M6 southbound turn onto the M56. Go to the end of the M56 and turn left at the large roundabout following signs for North Wales, Queensferry. At the next roundabout turn right on to the A540 following signs for Hoylake. Stay on this road all the way to Caldy Club via the Heswall centre. Caldy Club lies on the Wirral Peninsula between Heswall and West Kirby just off the main A540 Chester to Hoylake Road.

From M6 southbound turn onto the M56 then turn onto the M53 to Chester. Drive to the Chester end of the M53, continue on the A55 to the next junction (A51) and turn left towards Northwich and Nantwich. After about 150 yards turn left again into Hare Lane. The entrance to the club is about 200 yards on the left.

From the M61 turn off at J8 onto the A6 to Chorley. At the roundabout take the 3rd exit onto A6 heading to Chorley. Go through 1 roundabout and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the B5252 Euxton Lane. Turn left at Hall Gate Lane.
Didsbury Toc H RFC
Take the M6 south onto the M61 then M60. Exit at Junction 1 of the M60 (formally junction 12 of the M63) and take the A5145 Didsbury Rd. Follow the A5145 as it becomes Wilmslow Rd (crossing the A34) and after a 90 degree right bend take the road left into Ford Lane.
Eccles RFC
From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, then M60 to Stockport. At the junction 11 roundabout take the first exit left onto Liverpool Street (A57) to Eccles. Then take the second left into Gorton Street and you will find the club at the end on the right hand side.
Fleetwood RUFC
From the M6 take junction 32 M55 west towards Blackpool. Exit J3 and turn right at the roundabout, following signs for Fleetwood along A585. At the T junction turn left to stay on A585 for 10 miles, passing the Shell garage on the left. Go past Somerfield roundabout and take a left turn onto B5409 (Rossall Lane) just before the Fleetwood Nautical Building on the right. Take first right onto South Strand, cross the tram track, and turn right at the lights for 1/4 of a mile. Take next road right (Melbourne Avenue). The club is 20 yards down the road on the right opposite the first entrance to the Cardinal Allen High School.
Fylde RFC
From the M6 take junction 32 for the M55 west to Blackpool. Exit at junction 4, turning left on the roundabout onto the A583 dual carriageway. Go straight ahead at the large B&Q roundabout, and almost immediately filter right at the car garage, turning right at the first traffic lights. After about 1.5 miles, turn left at the T junction onto the B5261. Follow this road approximately four miles and the club is on the left opposite the Blossoms pub.
Glossop RUFC
From the M6 south take the M61/M60 clockwise to the M67/A57 towards Glossop. At the end of the M67 take the A57 to Glossop. In Glossop, turn right before the town centre onto the A626 to Charlesworth. Pass over a railway and a school on the left, taking the next left into Hargate Hill Lane.
Heaton Moor RUFC
Take the M6 south onto the M61 then M60. Exit at Junction 1 of the M60 (formally junction 12 of the M63) and take the A5145 Didsbury Rd. At the lights turn right into Bankhall Rd then right into Moorside Rd. Turn right into Green Lane (before the B5169 Heaton Moor Rd) and the club is half way along on the left.
Huddersfield RFC
From the M62 take exit 23 eastbound or exit 24 westbound following the Huddersfield signs to the ring road.and then the A616 marked Holmfirth/Sheffield. At the third set of traffic lights at Lockwood Bar with the Red Lion pub on the right go straight ahead through the traffic lights for half a mile and you will see the main entrance on the left just before a huge viaduct.
Hull RUFC
Take the M6 south turning onto the M61. Head for the M62 to Hull. At the end of the M62 continue on the A63 signposted to Beverley. Turn left at the A1079/Mytongate and continue to follow the A1079. Turn left at the B1233/Cottingham Rd and then left into Chanterlands Ave. Turn right into the Sports Centre.

From the South leave the M6 at junction 36 and follow the signs for Kendal North. At the roundabout North of the town turn into Kendal and follow the road signs for A6 Shap. Mint Bridge is situated on the edge of the Town on the A6 on the left hand side, opposite the school playing fields and nearby to Morrisons supermarket. From the North you can leave the M6 at Junction 40 near Penrith and follow the A6 via Shap into Kendal. As you enter the Town, Mint Bridge is on the right-hand side opposite the school playing fields and just past Morrisons supermarket (both on the left hand side).
Kirkby Lonsdale RUFC

Take the M6 north and turn off at Junction 36 onto the A65 towards Skipton and Kirkby Lonsdale. After approximately 6 miles take the first turning to Kirkby Lonsdale; carrying on beyond the schools. Take a left at the T-Junction to go down the hill, Mitchelgate. At the bottom of the hill take a left at the junction and follow the road round. Pass the Orange Tree and head up the hill, taking the first right into Raygarth. Go to the end of the road, over the cattle grid and over the hill.
Leigh RUFC
From the M6 take junction 23 east onto the A580 (East Lancs Road) dual carriageway towards Manchester. Go through Lane Head traffic lights passing the Kings Arms on the right until the next set of traffic lights. Turn left onto the A579 signposted for Pennington Flash and the A572. Follow the road to the first set of traffic lights then turn right. After ½ mile, where the road bears left opposite Pennington Park, turn right into Beech Walk. The club is at the end of the road on the left hand side.
Littleborough RFC
From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, then M60/M62 to Leeds. Exit the M62 at junction 21 turning left onto the A640 (Elizabethan Way) towards Rochdale. At the crossroads turn right onto the A664 continuing to the roundabout where you take the A58 (Halifax Road) towards Littleborough and Halifax. Coming into Littleborough centre, passing the A6033 on the left, turn right onto Canal Street following signs for Hollingworth Lake on Hollingworth Road. Turn between the lake and the Fisherman Pub and the club is straight down the lane 800 yards on the right.
Liverpool Collegiate RUFC
Follow the M6 south, turning off at junction 21A west onto the M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 turn left onto the A5058 to Sefton Park. Passing Sefton Park on your right turn left at the crossroads onto the A561 Aigburth Road. Stay on this road until you see Liverpool Cricket Club on your right hand side. The entrance is a sharp right after the traffic lights at the junction of Riversdale Road.
Liverpool St Helens RUFC
Lies adjacent to the intersection of the A580 (East Lancashire Road) and the A570 (St. Helens – Southport). It is visible from the A580 from both approaches. The main access is from the A570 (Rainford bypass) via a cut-through to the left on the northbound carriageway, about 50 metres north of the A580 intersection. On entering the cut-through one takes left again at the junction and then follows the minor road round to the club, passing a single track road to the left. From the Liverpool direction only, there is access from the A580 via the same single track road, (easily missed, and not recommended) immediately beyond the petrol filling station.

From the M6 junction 20/ M56 junction 9 follow signs for Lymm along the B5158.
Follow the road for approx. 1.5 miles to the end, then turn right at the T-junction onto the A56 towards Altrincham, follow the road for approx. 1/2 mile then turn right, just after the Church Green Pub on your right, onto Crouchley Lane, the club entrance is 300 yards on your right.
From the M56 junction 7 follow signs for Lymm along the A56.
At the roundabout at the end of the long slip road take the 2nd exit towards Lymm along the A56,follow the road for 4 miles go through the traffic lights and when you come to the Shell petrol station on your right, take the next turning on your left onto Crouchley Lane, the club entrance is 300 yards on your right.
Manchester RFC
From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, then M60 to Stockport. Exit the M60 at junction 4, turning right south onto the A34 towards Wilmslow. Turn left at Stockport onto the B5094 Stanley Road. Continue on the B5094 into Grave Lane and the club entrance is immediately after the Smithy pub.
Mold RFC
From M6 southbound turn onto the M56 then turn onto the M53 to Chester and take the A55 to North Wales. Take the first exit after the A55 and A494 cross and follow the A494 into Mold. At the roundabout with the A541 & A549 turn right into Chester Road. Mold Rugby Club is on the right near to the supermarket.
North Manchester RUFC
From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, then M60. Leave the M60 at junction 21 and stay left in the slip road. Turn left at the traffic lights and then right at the next set of lights (T junction) into Hollinwood Avenue. Travel for 2km and straight through the first set of lights. The Whitegate pub is on the corner of the junction on your right hand side. Travel for another 2km and go straight over at the round-about. The club entrance is 75m on the right hand side.
North Ribblesdale RUFC
Take the A59 towards Samlesbury and follow it past Clitheroe. At Gisburn turn left onto the A682 to Long Preston. Turn left onto A65 and after 6 miles take the roundabout right into Settle. In Settle turn right into Ingfield Lane, and continue into Lower Greenfoot.
Northwich RUFC
From the M56, turn off on Junction 10 and take the A49 towards Whitchurch. At the first traffic lights turn left onto the A533 towards Northwich. Go through Barnton village and turn right at the next traffic lights to go over the River Weaver, still on the A533. Turn right at the second set of traffic lights onto Moss Road and then right again onto Firdale Road, all the time following signs for Moss Farm Recreation Centre
Old Brodleians RUFC
From M62 Eastbound at Junction 25 turn onto A644 to Brighouse. Go through Brighouse staying on A644 towards Halifax. Cross over the A58 at Hipperholme staying on the A644 Denholme Gate Road, the club is on this road past Northedge Lane.
Oldham RUFC

From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, then M60 towards Leeds. Continue anti-clockwise round the M60 exiting at Junction 22 Oldham turning right onto the A62. At the lights turn left onto the A6104 and at the next roundabout take the 2nd exit onto the A6104. At the next lights turn right onto the A627 towards Ashton U Lyne. Turn right onto Knott Lanes, right onto Byrth Rd.
Ormskirk RUFC
Take the M6 south and exit at junction 26 turning right onto the M58. Exit the M58 at junction 3, turning right at the bottom of the slipway under the motorway and left at the roundabout (signposted Southport A570). Follow this road into Ormskirk. On entering Ormskirk follow the road to the left at the major set of traffic lights. Go through 3 sets of lights quite close to each other. The road veers to the right and then left around the church. Keep to the left around the church then take the next right opposite the Civic Hall. This is Green Lane and the club is 150 metres on the left.
Orrell RUFC
Leave the M6 at J26, take the exit signposted Orrell. At the first traffic lights turn left onto the A577, then at the second set of lights turn left again onto Moor Road signposted Orrell RUFC. At the third set of lights turn left into Church Street. Approximately 400 yards turn left into Edge Hall Road to the club.

From M6 junction 43, take A66 towards Brough.At next roundabout, take second exit onto A686. The club entrance is 800 yards on your left.
Rhyl RUFC
Take the M6 south and exit at junction 20A onto the M56 west to Chester. At the end of the M56 take the first turning onto the A5117. At the end of the A5117 turn left at the T junction onto the A550 Welsh Road. Continue on to the A494 and onto the A55. Just before St Asaph turn off onto the B5429 to Rhyl. The club is on this road before you get into Rhyl.
Rochdale RFC
Travel south on the M6 and take the M60 & M62 eastwards heading for Leeds. At J20 take the exit signposted M627M to Rochdale. At the roundabout at the end of the M627M turn left and then straight on at the next roundabout crossing over the A58. Follow this road until you reach a set of traffic lights (the Cemetary Pub will be on the right hand corner). Turn left onto the A6222 towards Bury and continue along this road and take the second right (Moorgate Avenue) after the Dog & Partridge Pub. The club is in grounds at the top of Moorgate Avenue.
Rossendale RUFC
From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, then at Junction 9 take the M65 towards Burnley. Exit the M65 at Junction 5 taking the third exit off the roundabout to B6232 Park Road for Haslingdon. Turn right then left on the A6177 and then right at the lights on the A680 towards Todmorden. At the roundabout take the 1st exit to the A682 signposted Burnley. Turn right onto St Mary’s Way, bear left onto Bank St, turn right into Grange Crescent, left into Grange St, right into Grange Rd, right onto Newchurch Rd and head for the Sports Club.
Ruthin RFC
Take the M6 south and turn west at J20 onto the M56 signposted Chester. At the end of the M56 take the A5117 and then onto the A550 entering Wales. Follow the A494/A55 and at J33b exit onto the A494/Mold Rd towards Mold. Continue to follow the A494. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit and stay on the A494. Go through 3 roundabouts and turn left to stay on the A494. Go through 1 roundabout and turn left at the A494/Lon Fawr. Turn left at Lon Fawr

From M60 Junction 7, follow signs for A56 Altrincham and join A56 at traffic lights at end of motorway slip road towards Sale. After approx. 1 ½ miles, turn left into Marsland Rd at traffic lights (signposted to Sale FC), Heywood Rd is on the right 350 yards after the cemetery.
Sandbach RUFC
From M6 junction 17 take A534 towards Sandbach, after petrol filling station (visible from motorway exit) take first right signposted Sandbach Town Centre & Bradwall. After approx half mile take first right into Offley Road, then take first right into Bradwall Road. After about half mile you will find Sandbach RUFC located on the right hand side of the road.
Sedgley Park RUFC
From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, then M60/M62 to Leeds. Exit M60 at junction 17 and follow directions for Whitefield and Bury along the A56. Keep in the left hand lane and turn left past Aldi/McDonalds along the A665, continue past the Eagle & Child pub. At the first set of traffic lights there is a school on your left, turn left onto Park Lane. Follow this road, going straight across a mini-roundabout. The club is 200 yards further on your left.
Sefton RUFC
From M6 southbound turn onto M62 to Liverpool. At the end of the M62 turn right under the flyover along Queens Drive. Turn right at the next major traffic lights onto East Prescott Road then left at the next major traffic lights onto Eaton Road. Turn right at the shops opposite Alderhay Children’s Hospital then turn left at the Bulldog Public House along Leyfield Road. Turn right into Thornhead Lane 300 yards on the right just before the School and sign post.
Southport RUFC
Situated on the A59 between Preston and Liverpool. Take the A59 south from Preston and at Tarleton take the A565 to Southport. Enter Southport and turn left at the Scarisbrick Hotel in the town centre. Leave the town on the main Liverpool Road (A565). The club is on the right down the hill from Mersey Rail Hillside.
Stockport RFC
From the M60 take J2 towards Cheadle. At the end of a very long slip road be in the RH lane. At the roundabout turn right, through the traffic lights and under the railway bridge towards Cheadle on the A560. At the next set of traffic lights turn left onto Councillor lane and continue for approx. 1 mile to the traffic lights, the Greyhound pub on the right. Go straight across the lights and continue under the railway bridge and over a hump backed bridge to a small roundabout, take the 2nd exit off the roundabout onto Garner’s Lane and continue for approx. ¾ mile to the traffic lights at the T-junction (Davenport station is opposite the lights). Turn right onto the A5102 (Bramhall lane) and continue along the road for about 1¾ miles, go across the small roundabout and down the hill to a large roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Bridge Lane and Headlands Road is the 2nd on the right, at the end of the road the club is on the left up the hill.
Stoke-on-Trent RUFC
From the M6 Junction 14, follow the A34 North towards Stone. After the third roundabout passing Stone there is a right turn indicated Barlaston. Go through the village and the ground is a half mile further on the right.
Tarleton RUFC
Situated on the A59 between Preston and Liverpool just outside Southport. Take the A59 south from Preston and at Tarleton follow signs into the centre of the village. At the main roundabout turn left and then turn right into Carr Lane. The Club is situated 300 yards on the left.
Trafford MV RFCC
Leave the M6 at Junction 18 and head towards Altrincham on the A56. Continue for 3 miles into Sale. Go past the Volunteer pub and turn left at the next set of traffic lights onto Glebelands Road. After about 2/3 mile, turn right into Finneybank Road and Trafford MV RFCC is at the end of Finnybank Road.
Tyldesley Rugby Club
From M6 southbound turn onto M61 to Manchester, exit at junction 4 and follow signs for Leigh. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A6 towards Walkden. Follow the road for 1¼ miles and at the traffic lights turn right onto the A5082 towards Tyldesley. Follow the road for 1½ miles to the mini roundabout and turn right onto the A577 towards Tyldesley town centre. Go past the old club road (Well Street) into Tyldesley centre. At the town square turn left down Astley Street (Lloyds TSB Bank on right). Follow Astley Street for 600 yards and the club is on the right, turn right opposite Standish Street.
Vale Of Lune RUFC
Take the M6 north and exit at junction 34 following signs for Lancaster. At the one-way system follow signs for ‘Morecombe’. Go under the railway bridge and then take the 2nd right (Scale Hall Lane). At the double mini-roundabout turn left onto Torrisholme Road (Vale of Lune sign posted) then take the 2nd right into Powderhouse Lane.
Warrington RUFC
Take the M6 south and exit at junction 20 onto the A50 to Warrington. At the first set of traffic lights turn left to Runcorn onto the A56. At Stockton Heath go through the traffic lights and continue on the A56. After 400 yards take the fourth left into Whitefield Road (grass island) and continue into Walton Lea Road. Warrington Sports Club is 200 yards on the right behind the trees.
Waterloo RFC
Take the M6 south and at junction 26 take the M58 to Liverpool. At the end of the M58 follow signs for Crosby. At Crosby Waterloo RFC is then sign posted to the ground.
West Park St Helens RUFC
From the M6 south take the M57. From the M57 J 2 take the A58 towards St. Helens. Pass Knowsley Safari Park and stay on this road for five miles until you reach the top of a hill. Continue on the A58 towards St. Helens, passing the Wellington pub on your right. Carry straight on through the lights for one mile, passing the Grapes pub, also on your right, until you come to a sharp right-hand bend in the road. The West Park Clubhouse is to the left, adjacent to Carmel College, immediately before the bend.
Widnes RFC
Take the M6 south and at junction 21A take the M62 to Liverpool. Turn off the M62 at junction 6 and take the A5080 to Cronton. Turn right at the traffic Lights and after 1 mile, take the second exit from the roundabout. Go over the railway bridge then take the first left into Heath Road. The clubhouse is on left.
Wigan RUFC
Take the M6 south onto the M61. Come off the M61 and follow all signs for Wigan, passing through Westhoughton, and Aspull; turning left at the Aspull roundabout junction where the school is on the left. Continue all the way down to Wigan, where, when the Tesco Superstore is opposite, turn right. Follow the mini by-pass (Central Park Way) up the side of the Superstore, which is now on the left. Follow this road A49 until you pass the hospital on the left; soon after the hospital take a right turn down Leyland Mill Lane, and on the upslope, left again down Wingates Lane, where Wigan R.U.F.C. is signposted. 500m past the houses, on the right, is an inclining track, which takes you up to the club
Wilmslow RUFC
From the M56 junction 6 follow signs for Wilmslow along the A538. Follow the road under the Airport runway for approx. 4 miles. When you reach the Texaco petrol station on your right, turn left onto Kings Road, the club entrance is at the end of the road. From the A34 follow signs for Wilmslow from the roundabout next to the Atlantic Ford Showroom, along the A538. After going under the railway viaduct you will come to a roundabout, take the 1st exit off the roundabout into Wilmslow town centre. At the traffic lights in the town centre turn right towards Altrincham along the A538. Follow the road for approx. 1 mile, just before you reach the Texaco petrol station on your left turn right onto Kings Road, the club entrance is right at the end of the road.
