12 intrepid cyclists from Preston Grasshoppers, aptly named Team Faffalot, will be cycling the Reivers Way to raise funds for local charity, SPACE.
The Reivers Route opened in 1998 and is 173 miles long and the riders from Team Faffalot will be embarking from Hoppers on 2nd June. They will be riding through some of the wildest and most untouched countryside in the UK, starting from the Cumbrian coast and finishing at the mouth of the River Tyne. Along the route Team Faffalot will be following the shores of the Kielder Water, crossing the border for a brief foray into Scotland and winding their way through the Northumberland National Park.
