Touch a huge success

Date: 14 June 2012

Thursday evening saw over 60 people descend on Preston’s Moor Park for an evening of touch rugby. People who had never played before as well as experienced club members arrived at 7pm for what turned out to be 3 games of touch rugby all being played simultaneously across a large section of the park.

It was great to see both new and old faces enjoying themselves whilst playing the great game. There was at least one player from each senior team in the club in attendance.

These sessions will run on Thursday’s throughout the Summer on Moor Park. The meeting point is the car park on the Deepdale side of the park.

No matter what experience you have, even if you’ve never picked up a rugby ball before, you are welcome to join us and have a go at rugby.

The club would like to say a big thanks to Kai Burns for setting up all the equipment beforehand.

Update

The next session will be on Avenham Park on Sunday during the Sky Ride. It will run from 10am-4pm as a drop in session so come and play for as much time as you like. The session is aimed at both adults and children.
