Food and Beer at HoptoberFest 2018

Hoptoberfest is just a few of days away, on Saturday 6th, and there will be a great selection of authentic German food available from 7pm until 9.30pm

If you are wanting to try the food we suggest getting in early as the entertainment from LeylandHosen starts pretty quickly!

Here is what we have to tempt you!

Nurnberger Bratwurst – £7.00
Traditional German sausage served with sauerkraut, braised red cabbage and potato wedges.

Frikadelle – £7.00
Bavarian Meatballs served with braised red cabbage and mashed potatoes.

Münchener Schweinhaxe – £13.00 (serves 2)
Roasted Pork Shank with sauerkraut and potato wedges

Jäger Schnitzel – £7.00
Pork steak coated in seasoned breadcrumbs hunter style served with beer sauce, sauerkraut and home made dumplings

Semmelkodel mit Pilzen – £6.50
Bread dumplings with Mushroom Cream Sauce (v)

Shnitzel Weiner Art – £7.00
Schnitzel Vienna Style – Classic Breaded pork escalope served with chips and sauerkraut.

As well as a great traditional food menu for the Hoptoberfest Weekender, we also have a variety of fantastic German beers on tap throughout the weekend.

Kaltenberg 4.1% abv
Brewed to the German purity law of 1516 and made from a family recipe which has been fine-tuned over the centuries, this refreshing Bavarian beer has a delicate hop character that leads to a classic smooth clean  tasting lager. 

Konig Ludwig Weisbier 5.5% abv
World champion Wheat beer in 2009. Described as a breakfast beer with its prominent notes of Apple & Banana this refreshing and lively beer is a Bavarian Speciality.

Erdinger Weissbier 5.3% abv
A wheat beer for those who love outstanding wheat beer flavour the undisputed classic in the Erdinger product range.  Brewed according to a traditional recipe and in strict accordance with the Bavarian Purity Law, the beer is still bottle-fermented in the traditional way taking three to four weeks to mature.

Warstiener 4.8% abv
Premium Verum, a pilsener style beer, is exported to over 60 countries. The ingredients are forest spring water, two-row malted summer barley and all German hops.
