Mabaya and Gough picked in N2N Dream Team

Peston Grasshoppers prop Oga Mabaya and scrum-half James Gough have both been named in The Rugby Paper’s National League 2 North Dream Team for the 2018/19 season.

The team is selected by the match reporter from each club based on the players they have watched throughout the 2018/19 season. The full selection can be viewed below.

There were some near misses for other Hoppers player with the article stating: ‘There was a case to be made for all of Preston’s front row and Pete Altham and Paul Millea can count themselves unlucky to have missed out.’

Hoppers centre Alex Hurst and back row Ally Murray were also mentioned as contenders in their positions too.
