Toby Cole, an athletic centre, joins us for the 2025-26 season. Toby has previously played at Rossendale RUFC but has been out in Australia. During his time there, he trained with NRL team, The Dolphins, as well as playing in the Elite 7s circuit.

Toby is comfortable at outside centre and on the wing. On signing for Hoppers, Toby said, “I’m thrilled to be back at Hoppers, as I played my junior years here. Having been in contact with Dan last season, I’m happy I have put pen to paper, and I’m looking forward to playing for this prestigious club in the 25/26 season.”

Head coach, Dan Orwin, said “Toby very nearly joined us last season, and we have kept in touch with him, following his progress. Toby has been excellent so far in preseason and will be a great addition to our squad for the coming season.”
