Four renowned clubs—Fylde RFC, Preston Grasshoppers, Burnley, and Southport—are uniting to form the NW Roses, a dynamic cluster that will pave the way for U12-U18 players to enhance their rugby skills and grow within the sport.

This partnership is more than a collaboration; it represents a collective commitment to developing the next generation of female rugby players. By pooling the resources and expertise of these four clubs, the NW Roses will offer unparalleled opportunities for young players to thrive through development, competition, and camaraderie.

Kick-Off Event: NW Roses at Fylde vs. Preston Grasshoppers Match

To celebrate the launch of this exciting cluster, we are hosting a special event during the upcoming Fylde vs. Preston Grasshoppers match.

Event Highlights

- NW Roses Curtain Raiser: Players from Fylde, Preston Grasshoppers, Burnley, and Southport in the U12-U18 age groups will come together as the “NW Roses” to showcase their talents before and during halftime of the 1XV match. This is an excellent chance for these young athletes to perform in front of a large audience and experience the excitement of playing in a major event.

- Guard of Honour: The NW Roses players will also form a guard of honour to welcome both teams onto the pitch, adding a special touch to the match atmosphere.

- Player Support: Thanks to the Fylde Rugby Foundation, all participating players will receive meals to keep them energized and ready to play their best.
