Things are a little different this time around, with this league having less teams. Now Hoppers have placed 2 teams consisting of our top ranked Winter League players, making for a very strong line up.

The level of competition is very stiff in Summer League however and we have felt this quite acutely this week with a close loss to Village Hotel Bury 1sts 3-2.

This isn’t all bad news as we are now cutting our teeth against stronger competition. No doubt our Summer League team will bounce back and come back even stronger as the next few months go by.

Remember its not how you start, its how you finish.

Next week its Rochdale 1sts and Village Hotel Bury 1sts again so let’s get into the win column again this week.
