Please ensure your entry is received no later than Wednesday 18th of February 2026.
Ideally Clubs are limited to four teams for Under 7s and two for all other age groups, but if this is restrictive for your particular club, please let us know and we will endeavour to accommodate additional teams. There is no limit on the number of players per team.
The format for the tournament will be as follows:
Under 7s – Under 11s competitive round-robin playing opportunity, where equal team and player participation is the emphasis. Scores may be recorded but winning does not affect ongoing participation, as every team will play the same appropriate number of matches. All players will receive a commemorative medal.
Under 12s – Under 18s competitive playing programme where equal participation and progression is the emphasis. The outcome of your pool games will be recorded to enable every team to advance to later rounds – for an equal number of matches against teams at a similar level.
Trophies will be presented to winners and runners up.
All competitions rules will be in line with the continuum. Please remind all attendees of the RFU codes of conduct for players, coaches, referees, parents and spectators. Any unacceptable behaviour is likely to result in a team or club being withdrawn from the Festival.
All players must be RFU registered, and all participating coaches DBS cleared. Playing up or down within an age group will not be allowed.
In order to ensure third party referees are available, we must insist that a referee is nominated for each age group entered and remains available for the duration of the festival.
If your club intends to travel by coach, advance notice would be appreciated. A programme will be available on the day.
We are looking to host some form of entertainment on the days.
Look forward to hearing from you.
