With nine strong teams in the league, next season's fixtures will see our women's team traveling from Skipton, to Pocklington and Hull, as they charge through the season, finishing with two home games in April 2027.

Zoe Wright, Preston Grasshoppers Women's team manager and assistant coach said: “We are looking forward to the season ahead. We’ve been working hard together all through summer to be at our best once the season starts, we’ve got a strong squad who are excited to get the season started!

“There are some new teams in the league this year, excited to mix things up a bit and meet some new opposition on the field, hopeful that we will come away with more wins this season and that the hard work in pre-season pays off.

“I am also hoping to move our Hull Ionians home game to the 6th March to have a big double-header day with the men's 1st XV. Let's see if we can pull it off!”

With new teams comes new challenges and for the Hoppers Women's team next season, it will be the distance to travel to games. Unfortunately there's no local derby but they do have the potential for some exciting doubleheaders!

Pictured here at their end of season celebrations, the women's team can sport both scrum and glam and have a powerful energy on and off the pitch.

“We're always welcoming new players to the team with or without rugby experience and would encourage anyone to give it a try, it might just be the best thing you do!
