The event will take place around the 1st XV fixture with Billingham which kicks off at 2:30pm. It will feature a wreath-laying ceremony, accompanied by the Last Post, a minute's silence, and the Reveille, played by a talented cornet player from the Freckleton Band.

The ceremony will include a wreath, featuring the Grasshoppers logo, laid on the pitch by both a veteran and a current serving member. Members of the Air Cadets will assist with the Poppy Appeal and be present in full uniform. Veterans from various services, including the Lancashire Regiment, will attend, wearing their medals.

Prior to the game, the Under 9s will play a curtain raiser at 12 noon against Vale of Lune.

After the game, club members and visitors are invited to enjoy post-match entertainment in the Clubhouse, featuring live music by singer Greg Partington from 5:30 pm to 7 pm.

Admission to the game is free for service personnel as a show of our appreciation for all they do.
