Yes, the Northwest Counties Squash Winter League 2025 to 2026 has finally come to an end and what a ride it has been, so thank you so much to everyone who played.

With most of our teams moving up in divisions from last year, the quality of opponent was upped significantly, so the beginning of the season was quite the rollercoaster.

Though it took a while for our teams to adjust to the higher levels of opponent, we kept getting better and better, gradually building the victories. Now, through everyone’s efforts, Hoppers squash teams have finished the the season with respectable mid table rankings all round.

So, well done and thank you to everyone who played and helped to organise the season. We couldn’t do anything without all the time and support you all put into Preston Grasshoppers Squash, so thank you.

Thankfully we won’t have to wait too long before more competitive play with our Summer League starting later this month.
