After the last 3 plus months of intense competition, we are now officially on Christmas break from Winter League, and it has been one heck of a season so far.

At the beginning of the season, many of our teams had been bumped up to newer, more difficult, divisions so the level of competition increased dramatically for many. Now, at the halfway point, our teams have managed to find their footing, with many now placed within the top 5 in their divisions.

This week was just another chance to show how far we have come with our 5ths taking on the top of their division, Lancaster University 2nds, managing to take 2 games off them.

Now we will be filling the final Thursday before Christmas with our traditional Christmas internal tournament, playing squash with all sorts of Christmas themed gear and rules, so it’s guaranteed to be a good end to the year.
