Hoppers Summer League have finally turned a corner, with a win over Blackburn Northern 1sts. Our first win of the season was not easy so well done to all.

While our 1sts may not have been so lucky against Whitefield, the improvement is clear to see with a win and 3 games going to the wire at 3-2.

This shows the level commitment our players are putting in to close the distance so keep it up everyone.

A shoutout also goes to Lloyd as well who had to break out our high tech ball retrieval system, aka a stick, to fetch one of the balls out of the lights mid game.

Next week is the first Hoppers vs Hoppers match of the season, with 1sts taking on 2nds. Let’s hope whichever team wins keeps their bragging to a minimum.
