This week we have some photos from Blackburn Northern and Thornton YMCA Squash Club who played our away teams over the last 2 weeks… and wow did they have some strong players.

While the 4ths didn’t have the best night last week, one of our youngest members Ollie managed to prevail 3 – 2. Ollie has only played a season of competitive Squash so him digging deep to beat a more experienced opponent is a huge win for him so well done Ollie.

Big shout out to Kirby from the 1sts who had the only win against City of Manchester Squash Club last week.

This week wasn’t much better for the Hoppers Teams with losses for all our teams, except our 3rds. While it wasn’t the best week, it was great to see Rob from 2nds putting in a marathon 5 game effort to get the win in his match against Blackburn Northern.

Its now 2 weeks before the season comes to an end and while we’re coming off a loss we are going to storm forward, get the wins and finish on a high!

This week, along with St Annes, we will be facing Blackburn Northern on home turf so we will have a chance for vengeance!
