Preston Grasshoppers travel to Cross Green on Saturday looking to get back to winning ways against Otley.
Hoppers currently sit fifth in the National League 2 North table after three wins from their opening five games. Last weekend saw us narrowly beaten 31-26 by Chester at Lightfoot Green, so the squad will be keen to respond with a strong performance on the road.
Otley currently sit 12th, with one win from their first five matches. They picked up that victory away at Wharfedale, but will be looking to put together a home performance to kick-start their season. Last weekend saw them defeated 43-31 away at Billingham
Hoppers enjoyed success on their last visit to Cross Green, running out 29-11 winners in March, and will be hoping for another positive result this weekend.
Ahead of the game Hoppers Head Coach Dan Orwin mentioned what his side have been working on.
He said: "After two disappointing defeats where we've been leading in the 2nd half we've focused on how we manage those tight game situations to make sure we come out on the right side of the result."
Orwin was happy with his sides defensive effort last time out and is hoping that can be replicated.
He added: "Really proud of the defensive effort and we need to take that to Otley, I imagine they'll be similar to Wharfedale fighting for their lives and we can't go there with any sort of complacency."
"It's a big week for us, getting that defence right and sticking to the script in attack and being up for the challenge mentally."
