For as long as I can remember, Preston Grasshoppers has been part of my life. I first came through our junior section, played as a Colt and had the privilege of representing the First XV.

For more than fifteen years I have also served on the club’s Management Committee. Those experiences have shown me that Hoppers has always been about much more than rugby. It is about friendship, community and a shared commitment to helping our club thrive.

This season we are introducing a new membership structure designed to make joining simpler, clearer and more flexible. Whether you are renewing your membership, joining for the first time or supporting a child through our Mini and Junior sections, we want every member to feel part of our club.

We also want to be open that membership fees have increased from last season. Like every sports club, we face higher costs for energy, insurance, maintenance, equipment, staffing and the day-to-day operation of our pitches and clubhouse. The increases have been carefully considered and kept as modest as possible while protecting the facilities, sporting opportunities and experience that our members value.

Every pound of membership income is reinvested in the club. Your membership helps us maintain our facilities, support our teams, develop young players and secure the future of Preston Grasshoppers for the next generation.

Whether you are renewing, joining for the first time or supporting a child through our Mini, Junior and Colt section, I warmly invite you to Join the Hoppers Family.

We urge you to renew your membership as soon as possible, preferably by the first Saturday in September as the rugby season gets under way.
