Following analysis of previous performance data and careful consideration of impact upon members and patrons, the management committee have voted to close the 1869 Bar on Mondays.
It was clear that Monday is by far the quietest trading evening of the week and revenue falls well short of covering operating costs. The revised opening hours will come into being week commencing Monday 3rd June ’24
