A very major milestone will be reached this Saturday when Pete Altham takes the field for his 150th appearance in a Hoppers First Fifteen jersey.
After moving to Preston Grasshoppers from Fylde during early 2014, Pete has firmly put roots down at Lightfoot Green. He made his debut off the bench against Chester at Lightfoot Green on the 4th of January before the following week putting on the number 3 shirt for the first time at Leicester Lions.
After missing all but one game last season due to a serious injury, Peter is now back to make his presence felt in the Hoppers front row.
Not only is he a very significant presence for Preston Grasshoppers, but the likeable character is now a member of the senior coaching set up at Hoppers, passing on his wealth of experience throughout all the playing membership.
Amongst his century and a half appearances, Pete has scored an impressive eighteen tries.
