The 1869 Club, the official supporters club of Preston Grasshoppers RFC, will be hosting an open night for supporters before the Waterloo pre-season friendly on Thursday 24th August.
The night will be open to new and existing supporters and members and will showcase what the 1869 Club does to support the club and how you can become part of it for the season ahead.
The 1869 Club will be looking to run supporter’s coaches to as many away games as possible this season and there will be the opportunity to sign up for the first of these trips to Sandal on Saturday 2ndSeptember.
In attendance on the night will be John Dewhurst and Les Harrison from the 1869 Club as well as PGRFC President Haydn Gigg.
Their guests for the evening will be Head of Rugby Operations Gareth Dyer, Head Coach Paul Arnold whilst members of the playing squad will also be present.
There will be opportunities for you to put your questions to those present with a Q&A session before watching the 1st XV’s final warm up game ahead of the start of their league campaign.
The evening starts at 6.30pm and will be held in the Wiseman Room. Entrance is free and a free buffet will also be available.
The 1869 Club AGM will also take place that week on the 22nd August at 7.30pm in the Wiseman Room.
