Pre season is well underway for the 1st XV squad as they prepare for a big campaign in the North Premier division in a bid to bounce straight back to the National Leagues.
The squad will play a range of pre season fixtures with conditioned games against Vale of Lune and Keighley, before a round robin of fixtures with Huddersfield and Longton respectively.
The 1st XV game against Huddersfield will be a good test of the squad against last year’s unbeaten North Premier champions who have leap frogged Hoppers into National League 2.
