On Saturday the 1st/2nd XV squad travelled to Huddersfield who were relegated from National League 2 North last season to play 2 friendly fixtures.
The first game kicked off at 1.30pm with the Hoppers XV running out comfortable winners by a 52-10 margin. The second game was a much closer encounter with a last minute Craig Aikman try securing a 26-21 victory.

The 1st/2nd XV squad are next in action when they face Sale FC who are newly promoted into National 3 North. The game takes place on Saturday 31st August at Lightfoot Green. More details of kick off times will be release nearer the time.
