The second team travel to neighbours Fylde on Friday evening for their penultimate fixture of a frustrating Bateman Premier League campaign. Sedgley Tigers were crowned champions last weekend after beating Macclesfield but Young’s men still boast a better overall record since the season began in September.
As is the norm this season Young makes a number of changes to his personnel. Last week Hoppers enjoyed a comfortable victory over Sale FC but their efforts were ultimately in vain.
The twos are boosted by the inclusion of Lewis Allen, Tom Smith, Matt Gargett, Jack Wilkinson, Luke Proctor and Dave Perry so travel to the Woodlands in good spirits.
Hoppers have had much the better of this fixture in recent seasons including two dominant victories back in the Autumn. However given the fluctuating nature of the season Young’s men take nothing for granted.
The kick off is 7.30 at Fylde and the full squad is as follows:
