The second team welcome Wilmslow to Lightfoot Green on Saturday as they look to stay top of the Bateman Premier League. As per usual John Young has had to shuffle his cards but on the day that Frank Bruno visits Hoppers the squad are confident that they can deliver a knockout blow to their Cheshire opponents (know what I mean?).
Young’s tyros will be intent on regaining the fluency and poise which has, at times, deserted them in the last two weekends but another good week at training bodes well for Saturday.
Tom Wilkinson, Dave Perry, Sam Whyte, Cam Berry & Olly Yates all return to the squad. Meanwhile Mark Murray earns a first team call up but Harry Moulding is unavailable and Anthony Elliott has managed to injure his buttock.
Kick off at the Green is at 3pm with the squad convening at 1.30pm prompt. The squad in full is as follows:
Mawdsley, Tuff, McGuinness, Banks, Perry, Doney, Webster, Taylor, Whyte, Reddick, Marshall, Flynn, Berry, Rhodes-Powers, Yates, Wilkinson, Mabaya, Kirkby
