The second team welcome Caldy to Lightfoot Green on Saturday in a rearranged fixture.
The men from Paton Field were due in Lancashire two weeks ago but transport problems meant they were unable to dispatch a full compliment.
Hoppers have faced Caldy three times already this season, twice in league fixtures and once in the cup. Young’s men have emerged victorious on each occasion but there is no place for complacency as fixtures between the two sides are generally highly competitive.
A win is imperative after last Saturday’s disappointing reverse against Sedgley Tigers. Hoppers are still well placed to challenge for the championship but require some favourable results elsewhere.
Kick off is scheduled for 3pm and Young has a strong squad at his disposal.
