Waterloo 2nd XV vs Hoppers 2nd XV
The second team look to preserve their unbeaten record and maintain their positive start to the new season with a trip to Waterloo this weekend.
Hoppers sit second in the Cotton Traders Premier League and have trained hard following their thrilling victory over the Fylde Hawks last weekend.
Their hosts meanwhile will be looking to bounce back following a thumping defeat at the hands of reigning champions Sedgley Park.
Hoppers make a number of changes, some enforced and some through choice. Back row forwards Jack Edwards and Matt Frings have both picked up knocks whilst Jacob Browne and Cameron Robinson are unavailable.
As a result Mark Rigbye returns to the second row, young Jack Granby (pictured above) shifts to the open-side, whilst Luke Proctor packs down on the opposite flank. Fly-Half Alex Ward returns to the fray this weekend whilst Adam Woosey makes his first start of the season on the wing. The bench is supplemented by two more returnees, Craig Proctor and Ben Geatches.
