Hoppers 2nd XV travel to South Manchester on Saturday to face a Burnage side whose results have improved over recent weeks. Last weekend they secured an admirable win away at Lymm.
Selection has again been tough for Mike Lough’s men but the squad have trained well and are focused on maintaining their unbeaten start. Traditional pace-setters Sedgeley Park are hot on our heels and there is a real hunger amongst the lads to keep them at bay.
Despite overwhelming local rivals Fylde last Friday the squad’s feet remain firmly on the ground and Tuesday night’s DVD session highlighted plenty of areas for the team to work on. The first team’s excellent form also sets the benchmark for Lough’s young team to aspire to.
Phil Mills, Chris Gale, Tom Smith, Tony Mahon and Oga Mabaya are welcomed back to the squad and there remain a number of lads ready to come back to the fold over the next few weeks.
Squad to face Burnage 2nd XV on 15/10/2011 (12noon meet at Hoppers or 1.30 at Burnage).

Reps: Brad Tuff/Phill Mills, Oga Mabaya, Andy Napier
