PRESTON GRASSHOPPERS’ third team steps into the limelight on May 7th when they play Fylde Saracens in the Hartley Trophy final at Vale Of Lune’s Powderhouse Lane ground in Lancaster.
The game is one of six Halbro North West Leagues finals taking place on the same day at two venues, the other being Sedgley Park, North Manchester.
The big day marks yet another step towards the ’normalisation’ of rugby union in the region, and is always eagerly anticipated by players, officials and supporters alike.
The Hartley Trophy Final kicks off at approximately 1-45pm.
Hoppers made their way to the final by overcoming Tarleton second team, Anselmians second team, and Rochdale second team in the semi final, after being given a bye in the first round.
