The second team return to league action this weekend with a must win visit to Priory Lane, the home of perennial challengers Macclesfield.
Back in January, Hoppers were the width of a post away from beating the Lions at Lightfoot Green in a game which they controlled and dominated for long periods.
Young’s men know they can win down in Cheshire as they did before Christmas, producing an excellent display to beat their hosts. Additionally their record over the past two years against Ian “Fred” Taylor’s tyros has been pretty good.
Hoppers welcome a number of familiar faces back into their match day squad, although Jacob Browne, Jack Walker & Brad Tuff are not available this time round.
Kick off is scheduled for 3pm and the hosts are hoping for a healthy crowd for what promises to be an entertaining fixture. Young’s men convene at 12noon at The Green or 1.30 in Macclesfield.
