The Club has been informed that one of our stalwart supports, Bill Molyneux, passed away last Wednesday.
Bill loved his time at the ‘Hoppers and always talked fondly about the club. He loved having a chat to friends as they enjoyed a beer whilst his daughters, Victoria and Lucy, were not far away with unlimited crisps and pop! He was a valued member of the Club’s Management Committee for a number of years.
I am sure that everyone at Preston Grasshoppers would wish to pass on their condolences to his family and friends.
Bill’s funeral will be held at 1.15pm, Friday 6th January at St John the Evangelist, Lund, Clifton. PR4 0ZE
Followed by committal at Lytham crematorium, and reception at the Clifton Arms Hotel, Lytham.
