All four of our Junior Teams were in action on Sunday in the Quarter finals of the Blacksticks Blue Challange Cup (aka Lancashire cup) with 3 out of the 4 winning through to the semi finals.
The U13s were narrowly beaten at home 5-7 by Waterloo despite camping out on the Waterloo line for the last quarter of the game. Unfortunately they were unable to find a way over for a winning score.
The U14s won away, beating Waterloo 24-5 to earn a home tie against Liverpool Collegiate in the semi final.
The U15s eased through 29-0 away to Bury and will now face a trip to local rivals Fylde.
The U16s came through a close game away at Ormskirk. The game ended in a 12-12 draw but went through by virtue of being the away team. The U16s will now face an away trip to 3 times winners Warrington.
The semi finals take place on Sunday 18th March with Finals day at Vale of Lune rugby club on the 29th April.
