Three of Hopper’s Junior teams were in Cup semi-final action at Lightfoot Green on Sunday.
The U16s took on Manchester in a repeat of last years U15s Final – unfortunately, Hoppers lost out this time 12-7 in a closely fought game in front of a large crowd.
The U15s faced local rivals Fylde and came out on top in a very close game winning by 5-0. The U15s will face Manchester in the final hoping to make it 2 in a row having won the cup last year as U14s.
The U13s took on an unbeaten Fleetwood side in a keenly contested match with Hoppers running out winners 40-12. The U13s will face Fylde in the final at Southport looking to maintain their run of success after Lancashire cup wins at U11s and U12s.
This year the Finals will be held at Southport on Sunday 28th April – keep the date free to cheer on our lads!
