The traditional Preston Grasshoppers Bonfire and Fireworks display takes place on Wednesday, November 5th at Lightfoot Green.
The largest organised community bonfire night in Preston is once again likely to draw large crowds of families for the fantastic display by the award winning Preston based Phenomenal Fireworks. As usual there will be a fantastic fairground plus food and drink available. This years event is sponsored by Preston based fireplace suppliers Burning Desires.
Last year the ground’s capacity was reached and some people had to be turned away at the gate. This year Hoppers have once again teamed up with Skiddle.com, Preston’s events and festivals ticketing specialists, to provide a ticket sales and ground entry system.

They will also be on sale at Preston Grasshoppers through the office or behind the bar. In addition they will be on sale at the following outlets: Burning Desires on Garstang Road, Conway Drive Newsagents, Ashton Domestics, Kinders Garage, Gibsons newsagents on Lansdowne Hill and Garstang Road and Tourist Information at the Guild Hall.
Tickets are priced at £5 per person or £15 for a family ticket for 2 adults and 2 children. Entry on the night will be £6 per person or £17 for a family.
The gates open at 6pm with the bonfire lit at 7 and the fireworks at 8. In the event of postponement due to adverse weather no refunds will be given on the night and an alternative evening will be scheduled. No private fireworks, sparklers or alcohol will be allowed to be brought on to the site.
