Bonfire Night – Everything you Need to Know

Date: 24 October 2017

Our annual Fireworks and Bonfire Night, sponsored by Burning Desires, is less than a fortnight away, and we are excited to now reveal what you can expect at the event.

The gates will open at 6pm on the 3rd November and we have a mixture of entertainment lined up prior to the main fireworks display at 8pm.

The talented local singer Kathy Anderson will be giving a live performance on the pitch, and there will also be a mixture of live rugby with stalwart DJ Daryl Edwards guiding you through the evening.

As always, there will be a variety of funfair rides and entertainment, with food and drink available from the club house and food trucks outside. The funfair, bar and catering will continue on after the fireworks so no need to rush away.

The bonfire will be lit at 7pm, and at 8pm our biggest aerial fireworks display ever will be put on by Phenomenal Fireworks, who are part of the well renowned TNT Group.

We would like to say a big thank you to Burning Desires, who supply and install fires, fireplaces, stoves, flue systems and chimney liners across the North West of England, Cheshire, Cumbria and the Isle of Man, for sponsoring the event. Visit their website here.

In the unlikely event that the display can’t take place because of weather, then it will be delayed until Sunday evening on the 5th November.

We must stress that parking on site is extremely limited and the roads around the club are very congested because of ongoing building developments, so we strongly advise everyone to use public transport or park away from the club and walk.

Individual advance tickets cost £5.50, and a family ticket (x2 adults, x2 children) is £16.50. Tickets can be bought online on Skiddle by CLICKING HERE.  Or are available to buy at the club from 8am to 11pm throught the office or over the bar. Also available from Gibsons Shops on Garstang Road and Lansdowne Hill.

We advise buying tickets online in advance to avoid disappointment. We may only have a limited number of tickets on sale on the night. Capacity is limited and in previous years we have had to turn people away at the gate.

Please do not bring your own fireworks, sparklers or alcohol, bag searches will be in operation and offenders will be ejected.

We’ll look forward to seeing you all on 3rd November for a great night of family entertainment.
