The club is pleased to announce that this year’s Boxing Day testimonial game has been awarded to John Powell. John has been a member and volunteer at the club since the 1970’s and this recognition is well deserved.
The game will kick off at 1.30pm and will feature a Hoppers XV against a Chairman’s XV put together by Director of Rugby Michael Bailey. All players wishing to play should arrive at 12.30pm so that teams can be sorted.
Admission to the game is £5 with all proceeds going to a charity of John’s choice.
