Saturday 30th August sees Preston Grasshoppers play host to our Dutch twin city Almelo as we welcome the Almelo Big Bulls to Lightfoot Green for a tour match.
Almelo has been twinned with Preston since 1948 and 2008 saw the Big Bulls travel to Preston for a fixture to commemorate the 60th anniversary of the twinning. The fixture is the reverse of when Preston Grasshoppers toured Almelo a few years back.
To help fund and support the fixture we are hosting the ‘Bulls Big Bash’ on Friday 4th July at 7pm. The night will include a comedian, DJ and games with prizes to be won. Tickets are priced at £10 which includes chip butties. The night is being run in conjunction with the Preston Twinning Partnership.
