Cayman Island Tour 40th Anniversary Reunion

It’s fast approaching the 40th anniversary of the first major overseas tour of Preston Grasshoppers RFC to the Caribbean & Florida.
After a few of the original tourists have been talking we have decided to mark the 40th anniversary of this event as unfortunately 7 of the original party are no longer around to mark this occasion.
Hopefully some of the tourists will be bringing along any memorabilia of the trip. For refreshments we are hoping to have a buffet plus some rum punch and Cuba Libra cocktails purely for nostalgic purposes. We are hoping that we might be able to procure some Heineken “Greenies” for an even more aesthetic feeling to the evening.
Please try and come along as there may be a visitor or two from Cayman Rugby Club who have decided to forsake paradise to return to the UK so we’ll have to see.
Please spread the word to make sure we have a half decent turn out and a toast to absent friends.
