Classy Jordan Commits to Hoppers

Date: 24 May 2018

Scott Jordan has committed himself to Hoppers for the upcoming seasons.

The full back/wing has been a virtual ever present this season and finished as second top try scorer with 18 tries.

The former West Hartlepool, Westoe and Wharfedale player is closing in on 150 career appearances and in that time has amassed 73 career tries to date. He has been rewarded for his form with a call up to the Lancashire Senior Squad having previously represented Durham at County level.

Scott said “After the amazing season we have had on and off the pitch it was a no-brainer to extend my stay at Hoppers. The work of the backroom staff and everyone involved with the club is second to none and the squad are hugely excited to return to National 2. We want to progress further next year against tougher opposition and we of course all looking forward to the return of the local derby! #MHGA”

Head Coach Paul Arnold said “Scott is a vitally important part of the squad. He’s a top performer on the pitch and part of the glue that bonds the dressing room together off it. He’s had a superb season and despite looking older than he is (Jordan is 26) he’s a young guy with a wealth of experience”.

Scott has been sponsored this season by Hargreave Hale.
