The UK Corporate games have finally arrived and take place this coming weekend. If you’re free this weekend why not come down to the club and watch some live rugby action to keep you going until September.
The club is hosting both the Rugby 7’s, Touch Rugby and Squash aspects of the games which take place all over Preston this weekend.
The action kicks off at 10am on Saturday morning running through until 2pm with the same on Sunday.
Club Ambassadors Required for the UK Corporate Games
The UK Corporate Games is a multi-sports festival held annually across the UK. This year Preston is the host city and Preston Grasshoppers are the host venue for the Rugby 7’s and Touch Rugby tournaments.
Arrangements are at an advanced stage with volunteers assigned against each of the defined Sports Organising Committee roles.
In addition to the defined roles, the organising committee are looking for a number of volunteers over the 2 days to assist where required and generally be a presence around the club. Specific roles will range from acting as a ‘runner’ for the results team, to promoting the club’s facilities amongst the competitors and games sponsors.
The event is scheduled for Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July, between 09:00 & 15:00hrs.
We require volunteers to cover the entire 2 days but plan to divide the days into mornings (8:30- 12:00hrs) and afternoons (11:30-15:00hrs). Each volunteer will receive a drinks voucher and a meal voucher.
