The club has received the following letter from the RFU and is asking for volunteers from the club to attend.
Dear Club Contact,
As part of our ongoing commitment to Club Development the Rugby Development Team in the Region are once again holding a series of Club Development workshops.
The events will give clubs the opportunity to gain an update on the Key areas of Rugby Union Club Development and ask specific questions relating to their own club.
The North Lancashire event will be held at Preston Grasshoppers RFC on Wednesday 25th January 2012 2pm – 8pm.
The subjects covered will include Funding and Facility Development, Rugby First, Coaching, Women and Girls, Refereeing, Student Rugby, Volunteering and Sale Sharks.
The format will be a one hour Rolling programme of sessions between 2pm and 8pm. Each workshop will comprise an update followed by interactive question and answer and will last for 45 minutes, repeated on the hour.
Clubs are invited to send as many (or few) relevant delegates as they wish, e.g. One person could attend multiple sessions or several people cover most topics simultaneously.
Throughout the day there will be a representative from the Lancashire RFU who are keen to get feedback from yourselves as to what they can do differently to help you as clubs develop.
