Hoppers Community Rugby Coach Alex Ward is leaving the post as his contract comes to an end this summer.
Alex, a key member of the promotion winning 1st team of two seasons ago and a 1st team squad member this season, will be missed by all Mini/Junior age groups and schools that he has coached.
Lead coach for the Colts, Alex continued to provide an important bridge between local schools and the club, also running a number of successful sports/rugby camps during school holidays and carried on the recently introduced Rugby Development Group camps aimed at developing older Junior players for Senior rugby.
The club is always reviewing the situation, but there are currently no plans to continue the post of CRC at the moment.
Every one at the club thanks Alex for his great work through the year.
