CROW WINGS INTO LIGHTFOOT GREEN

Date: 25 August 2018

PGRFC is delighted to add wing/centre Matt Crow to the playing squad for the 2018/19 season. Having spent last season with National 2 opponents Chester, Crow has previously been with Waterloo having switched codes after spending his formative years in rugby league. During his league days he was part of the Wigan Warriors academy whilst he also gained experience with a season at Rochdale Hornets.

On his move to Lightfoot Green Matt said “I am really looking forward to the upcoming season with Preston and excited to face the challenge ahead. The team is full of confidence after having such a good season last year, so I can’t wait to rip in and try and get into the team”.

Head Coach Paul Arnold said “Delighted to add Matt to the squad for the coming season. With Niall Crosley’s departure we needed to add to the back three and Matt is capable of challenging for a starting spot and being a good finisher at this level”.

The Hoppers faithful will have to wait for Crow to make his Hoppers bow as he currently recovers from surgery in the off season.

Welcome to PGRFC Matt!
