Congratulations to young Hoppers flanker Eddie Webster who has been selected in the England Counties U20 squad to tour Georgia.
The 25 selected players will assemble on May 11 and depart the following day for Tbilisi, where they play two fixtures against Georgia U20s on Wednesday, May 15 and Saturday, May 18.

Fourteen counties are represented following selection during the Development Weekend (March 29-31) at Welbeck College, when the top 22 players from each of the four divisions competed for places.
Hoppers Director of Rugby Gareth Dyer commented “We are thrilled that Eddie has been called up for the England Counties U20 tour to Georgia. He has had a promising first season in senior rugby and we are delighted he’s committed himself to Hoppers for next season.”
He added ”Eddie offers something different to the 7 role. He’s blisteringly quick, fearless and provides an excellent link with the backs. He has areas to work on but he’s willing to work hard and we think he’ll continue to develop into an excellent all round player. The England tour will no doubt be a great honour for Eddie and I’m sure he’ll give it everything and be one of the real successes of the trip”.
