On Saturday we welcome Entwistle Green as our main match sponsors for the Hull Ionians game.

Founded in the 1920’s, the Company has 47 branches throughout the North West and is part of Countrywide PLC, the largest network of estate agents in the UK. The core strength of their business is in Lancashire and they offer a complete home moving service, residential lettings and represent a number of established local and national builders.
The Company has had strong ties with Hoppers over the past few years with club Vice President John Fisher providing a link between company and club both in sponsorship support and regular use of our excellent conference facilities. Aside from the challenges of the property market, John’s main passion is rugby and it is fitting that the two can come together here as a venue at Hoppers.
Explaining why Entwistle Green are keen to sponsor a Preston Grasshoppers 1st XV game, John says:

Personally, I have been a VP for over 16 years and a former member of the management committee and we use the club’s conference facilities every week for meetings and social functions. We also take a sponsorship package with the club every season.”
As well as being a current supporter and spectator, John had a distinguished playing career which included England U.19 Schools, North West Counties Schools, an Oxford Blue in 1976, Sale RFC, Cumbria County and spells with Vale of Lune and Furness and, most importantly, Hoppers Strollers!
