As Hoppers continue to build towards pre-season, a number of players have re-committed themselves to the club for the upcoming campaign.
Front rowers Noah Miller, Harry Holden and Dan Madden have all re-signed with both Miller and Madden having overcome long term injuries that affected their 2021/22 campaigns. Hooker Holden enjoyed a break through campaign and is another home grown product to come through the club’s M&Y system.
Joining them will be 1st XV Young Player of the Year Declan Norrington and long serving Luke Procter who has overcome and injury that ruled him out for much of the season. Both players are again products of the club’s youth system.
Behind the scrum, seasoned scrum half Jake Squirrel stays for what will be his sixth season whilst fly half Ben Pearson will be on board for his second season. Pearson enjoyed a superb first year at the club having scored close to 200 points despite missing a number of games during the mid-season. Also signing on for a sixth successive campaign will be winger Tyler Spence who also enjoyed a superb season during last years promotion winning campaign.
The club has also secured a number of new signings and will announce these in the coming weeks as we move towards pre-season on Tuesday 5th July.
